Oscar

Oscar — also known as Buster or Soldier Boy — has already lived quite the life! He was originally rescued by a kind soldier in Afghanistan and made the long journey to New York. Sadly, after arriving in NYC, he slipped out and was eventually found all the way up in the Capital Region.

Thanks to his microchip, we were able to contact his owner right away. Unfortunately, due to severe allergies in the family, she was heartbroken to let him go — and Oscar came to stay with us at Happy Cat Rescue.

Now, this super-friendly and charming guy is looking for a new forever home. He’s a favorite among our volunteers (and even the local PetSmart staff!) and gets along great with both people and other pets.
